Palo Duro Canyon. The second largest canyon in the United States, trailing only the Grand Canyon. One of the darkest places in Texas, after Big Bend.
This is one of my first big photography related projects. A proper time lapse movie. Between one-hundred twenty and one-hundred fifty seconds long. Inspired by all those short travel video time lapses that are a dime-a-dozen on Youtube.
2017's photographic fascination have been time lapse photography. If I want to shoot every night, I need to do it close to my apartment (DFW traffic is awful).
I took an overnight trip to Caprock Canyons State Park in July, solely for the purpose of photographing the stars. A few of my friends mentioned taking a road trip to New Mexico, and I tagged along for the first leg.
Just in case you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, there was a total solar eclipse that transited the entire continental United States.
Infrared (IR) photography is a fun little side project of mine that I do from time to time. No, I don't have any fancy equipment, like an IR converted camera, or anything like that. For me, IR photography is a natural extension of my love for long exposures.
